LONDON, 6 February 2019, Microshare, Inc. www.microshare.io, the market leader in data ownership and sharing, has graduated from Microsoft ScaleUp, a high-growth startup program which gives companies unique access to enterprise partners/customers and the ability to qualify to co-sell with Microsoft’s sales force.

Microshare’s IoT Data Management Solution for global commercial facility operators delivers improved user experience and reduced cost by understanding how people really use their space.

The Microshare hybrid architecture collects and stores each customer’s IoT data on their own (existing) Azure Storage.  This design ensures that the multiple payloads each sensor sends per day is ultimately owned and controlled locally according to sharing rules set by the customer.  Microshare leverages Azure IoT for integrating digital twins and injecting data from 1000’s of devices as well as Azure Data Bricks and PowerBI for powerful analytics and visualization.

Ron Rock, CEO of Microshare said, “Microsoft ScaleUp London’s Program has been incredible. We have had the tools, technical support and advice to grow our business. It’s been a fantastic opportunity to develop our commercial strategy and to go to market with Microsoft to win enterprise customers.”

Startups receive advice on scaling their business through Microsoft ScaleUp London’s commercial curriculum and technical support to make the most of the Azure cloud platform. Located in London’s digital quarter, near Shoreditch, the Microsoft ScaleUp is one of eight global programs that operate across the globe as part of Microsoft for Startups.

Warwick Hill, Snr MD of Microsoft for Startups, Europe and Middle East, added: “We are proud to introduce Microshare into the Microsoft partner ecosystem and look forward to their contribution in helping us realize the £2 trillion opportunity in the global IoT market.  Microshare enable our customers and partners to adopt new IoT solutions and generate new revenue streams via Azure quickly and efficiently through better understanding and use of their data.
